Founders Story

My name is Chef Eileen Ellington, CEO and Owner of Unique Flavors Personal Chef Services LLC. I was born in Banana Ground, Manchester Jamaica W.I As the eldest of 13 children for my mother I had the responsibility of helping to take care of my siblings. Cooking was one part of my daily chores . As a teenager I developed a passion for cooking. I started out, watching my mother and caretakers in the kitchen and assisting them with preparing meals for our family.

In June of 1988 I relocated to the United States , shortly after I became a mother . Being a mother of 2 children, I became accustomed to preparing 3 meals daily .It was a delight for me learning to make new dishes, and making people feel special through my cooking .

My passion for cooking evolved into hosting birthday parties, Thanksgiving dinners, Christmas dinners, BBQs and any occasion that I could come up with to feed people and demonstrate my cooking skills. People would often rave about my food and encourage me to open a restaurant. I had numerous backyard events most of them was free , and the ones that weren’t free was sold out.

In 2015 I started realizing this is something special, this is a gift from God . After constantly been told about my food. I decided to start a catering business and from catering I evolved into a Personal Chef. God has entrusted me with this priceless gift and I am delighted to use it to be a blessing to as many people as possible.
